Beim diesjährigen Solar Decathlon 2009 sind die Studenten der TU Darmsatdt wieder dabei – als einzige deutsche Hochschule. Bei dieser sogenannten ‚Solarolympiade‘ geht es darum, ein Architekturprojekt zu realisieren, das sich selbst mit Solarenergie versorgt. The U.S. Department of Energy has announced this year’s participants and dates for the 2009 Solar Decathlon—a competition that challenges student teams to design, develop, and build homes that can produce their own energy from sunlight.
