Ab dem 3. Oktober, dem Tag der Deutschen Einheit, liegt die Dokumentation des Festivals rheinpartie 2009 als CD vor: Die rheinpartie 2009 rund um den Tag der Deutschen Einheit lockte zehntausende Besucher in das Rheintal zwischen Koblenz und Rüdesheim. Projektionen auf Burgen, Klöster und Ruinen erzählten Geschichten aus dieser einzigartigen Kulturlandschaft am Rhein. Die Dokumentation gibt einen guten Überblick zum Konzept und den einzelnen Projekten. Video-Links geben einen lebendigen Eindruck von diesem einzigartigen Festival. Zu den Teilnehmern gehörten diese international bekannten Künstler: das Atelier Skertzò (Paris), Ross Ashton (London), Urbanscreen (Bremen), Philipp Geist (Berlin) und Hartung Trenz Lichtinstallationen (Köln/München). Projections onto castles, cloisters and ruins told stories of this world heritage landscape. The documentation gives a good overview to the concept and the projects. Licht Festivals treffen sich in LyonFestivals of Light meet in Lyon
Im Light Festival Pavilion auf der LumiVille in Lyon präsentieren sich verschiedene internationale Licht-Festivals. Auch Luminapolis hat dort einen Stand (Halle 66 G 95). Zu den Konferenzteilnehmern gehören Jean-Michel Daclin, Jean-Francois Zurawik, skertzò, Allain Bénini, Laurent Lhuillery, Jürgen Meier, Marit Schulz, Rik van Stiphout, Nicolas Mabille und Masaki Bando. Neben Luminapolis ist die Fete de Lumières (Lyon), Chartres, Leipzig, Eindhoven, Genf und Osaka präsent. ‚rheinpartie – to move on to pastures new‘ is a festival of projection art and media in the Unesco World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley (2. bis 4. Oktober 2009). Beside the large-scale projects of international artists which show fascinating images and dream worlds in castles, monuments and ruins with the newest technologies there is a row of local initiatives to show the life on and with the river Rhine via small scale projections on house walls and facades. Technical fascination and the charm of the private initiative transform the Rhine Valley all around the day of the German Unification into a dream of a landscape.
