Mode-Gala im Metropolitan Museum in New York. Star des Abends ist Katy Perry in ihrem LED-Outfit. Während der Luminale 2010 – Biennale der Lichtkultur gab es eine Modenschau zum Thema „wearable electronics“. Der internationale Technik-Spezialist für solch futuristische Mode aber ist Moritz Waldemeyer.

During the Luminale 2010 – Biennial of the Lighting Culture in April there was held a fashion show on the subject „wearable electronics“. Moritz Waldemeyer: Laser Jacket for Bono

Ende Juni startete U2 die neue Konzert-Tournee im Camp Nou Stadion von Barcelona. Eine Show, die vor allem durch ihre Bühnenshow und die Kostüme überraschte. Die schwarzen Lederjacken von Bono waren von Moritz Waldemeyer mit 240 Lasern bestückt. Das Laserlicht betonte die Silhouette und zeichnete die Bewegungen nach. Mehr>

U2 got their new tour under way with a magnificent show at Barcelona’s Camp Nou stadium. Every aspect of the show was full of innovative concepts and details, including the stage costumes. For the encore Bono was dressed in a black leather jacket featuring Moritz Waldemeyer’s latest wearable effects concept: 240 lasers along the silhouette extended Bono’s every move all the way across the audience. Royal Appointment by Moritz Waldemeyer

London Ende September. Wir treffen Moritz Waldemeyer in der Gallery Libby Sellers. Dort präsentiert er „By Royal Appointment“, eine Aura-Lichtinstallation. Das Licht passt sich der Kleidung desjenigen an, der auf den Stühlen Platz nimmt. Wer sprechen über die Luminale. Moritz Waldemeyer hat Lust auf eine Teilnahme. Augenblicklich ist er sehr beschäftigt. Mit dem Modemacher Hussein Chalayan bereitet er die nächste Fashion Show für Paris vor. Für Chalayan hat er

Kleider aus bewegten Bildern programmiert. Moritz Waldemeyer ist ein Meister des Electric-Pop. Auch bei so mancher Chrystal Palace-Installation von Swarovski hat er seine Hände im Spiel. Zwischen den Aufträgen arbeitet er an seinen eigenen Kunst- und Design-Projekten.

With the fashion designer Hussein Chalayan he prepares the next Fashion show for Paris. For Chalayan he has programmed clothes from moved pictures. Moritz Waldemeyer is a hidden champion of the Electric pop. Also with quite a lot of Chrystal Palace-Installation of Swarovski he has his hands in the play. Between the orders he works on his own art and design projects.
