NetworkSim of WHITEvoid (Luminale participant 2006) wins two more iF Awards in the sections “Structure” and “Interface”. In the flight control tower of the Lufthansa Brand Academy Frankfurt-Seeheim visitors learn about the local and global connections of international air traffic. A 14 meter wide 180 degree projection lets users dive into the fully navigable, realtime 3D visualization of 16000 daily Lufthansa and Star Alliance flights. The visual appearance of the data visualization is complimented by a generative, six channel 3D audio system developed by Prof. Robert Henke. This installation is one of 5 interactive exhibits that WHITEvoid developed and implemented for the Lufthansa Brand Academy. Im Flugkontrollcenter der Lufthansa Brand Academy in Frankfurt-Seeheim lernen die Besucher die lokalen und globalen Flugverbindungen im Weltluftverkehr kennen. Eine 14 Meter breite 180 Grad Projektion lässt die Besucher eintauchen in eine steuerbare 3D Visualisierung von 16.000 täglichen Flugbewegungen von Lufthansa und Star Alliance. Der visuelle Eindruck wird durch ein 6-Kanal 3D Audio System unterstützt, das Prof. Robert Henke entwickelt hat. Diese Installation ist eine von fünf Ausstellungsstücken von WHITEvoid.
