    Tagtool, das Open Source Instrument für Live Performance Drawing & Animation, blickt auf ein sehr ereignisreiches Jahr zurück. Während der Luminale unterstützte Tagtool die Aktionen des Jugendladens Bornheim. Im September gab es den Förderpreis des Österreichischen Staatspreises. Aktuell wird die Teilnahme am Europrix-Festival in Graz vorbereitet. Mehr>

    Tagtool, the open source instrument for live performance drawing & animation, looks back on a very eventful year. During Luminale Tagtool supported the actions of the youth shop Bornheim. In September Tagtool got the Förderpreis of the Austrian State Price. Currently the participation in the Europrix festival in Graz is in preparation. More>

    LAB[au] aus Brüssel (Manuel Abendroth, Jérôme Decock, Alexandre Plennevaux und Els Vermang) präsentiert seine neue großformatige Urban Installation ‚Binary Waves‘ im Kontext der Art Grandeur Nature Biennale in Paris. fLUX Binary Waves ist eine urbane und kinetische Installation, die auf der Messung von Bewegungen (Fussgänger, Autos) und Kommunikationsflüssen (elektromagnetische Felder erzeugt durch Mobiltelefone, Radios …) beruht und sie in Licht, Ton und Bewegung übersetzt. Die Beziehung zwischen Installation und städtischem Umfeld geschieht in der Echtzeit und macht jede Person zu einem Akteur der Installation. Mehr>

    LAB[au] from Brussels (Manuel Abendroth, Jérôme Decock, Alexandre Plennevaux and Els Vermang) presents its new large scale urban installation Binary Waves in the context of the Art Grandeur Nature Biennale of Paris. fLUX, Binary Waves is an urban and cybernetic installation based on the measuring of infrastructural (passengers, cars) and communicational (electromagnetic fields produced by mobile phones, radio..) flows and their transposition into luminous, sonic and kinetic rules. This relation between the installation and the urban activity happens in real time and sets each person as an element of the installation, as a centre of public realm. More>

    Paris. ‚Tempo‘ ist eine Realzeit-Installation von fragmentierten Himmelsbildern, geschaffen von Marie-Julie Bourgeois und Luiza Jacobsen. Die Bilder stammen von Webcams rund um die Welt und sind zu einer Karte des natürlichen „Kunstlichtes“ zusammengefügt. Zentrum der Komposition bildet die Sonne. Der Zeitrhythmus ergibt sich aus der Erdumlaufbahn um die Sonne. Mehr>

The images come from all around the world’s webcams composing a big cartography of natural artificially lights.
