SKYWAY ’09 ist ein neues internationales Licht-Festival in der polnischen Stadt Torun. Die erste Ausgabe fand im August statt und nahm das astronomische Ereignis der am Abendhimmel gut sichtbaren ‚Perseid Meteor Dusche‘ zum Anlass. Dieses Ereignis wurde in Licht-Kunstwerken reflektiert und kommentiert. Mehr als 30.000 Besucher strömten auf die Straßen und es entstand ein Erlebnis, das noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird. SKYWAY ‘09 is a new International Light Festival, held in the Polish city of Torun. The first edition took place last August, taking advantage of a natural phenomenon, the Perseid meteor shower, with art framing and being framed by this astronomical event. More than 30 000 enthousiastic visitors filled the streets, experiencing the town center in a way that shall be remembered for years to come.
